Hello Clan members and People,as i was watching an interview of McKinsey's Global partner. He was saying its predicted by 2030 with the coming of Big Data and  Data Analytics Softwares,55% of consulting work could be done by the softwares.

So,how do you guys put this statement, does upcoming tech have the ability to wipe off consultants from the industry?

Hi Raman,

I don't think it would. You still need to have experts that provide contents to the software. And consultants are a main part of those experts.

Also consulting companies now are providing software to their clients at cheaper rates, but they also always provide a second option which is in person consultancy at a much higher rate, becuase they know there is no equivalent to this human interaction experience. It's like online courses, they did change the training industry, but I don't see that they will end in class courses.

Wish you the best in your career.

Hi Raman,

I hardly think that is the case. Yes, technology will taker over the better of us but, the world is moving at a greater pace and new developments are being factored in.

Couple of decades ago Cyber Threats was not a huge deal in business perspective. Now everyone is deeply considerate of its implications.

Obviously, specific areas in Consultancy might become obsolete by 2030. However, as long as we follow Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and we adopt along with the gaining dynamics, I really don't see how you can eliminate the practice of Consultancy.

Expertise will always be required to program these "softwares" along with variable dynamics.

Further, most of the current softwares provide a range of outcomes and to decide which is the optimum solution, you will need experts.

Hope this helps.

Cheers
