Hey Paul,

Firstly don't worry. It is okay to not get calls from big companies. I have been there too.

I'll be honest with you here, not all the HRs of these companies check their portals for CVs and applications regularly. Hence just applying from the company website is not the best option.

Engage with Partners, Managers and Principals of the firms you wish to work for. Because to get an interview you need someone to champion for you. Hence you need to find your champion. Engage with them on LinkedIn and mail.

To get their emails, check out if they have published any big reports. For example Google "KPMG report of Effects of Operations due to Covid-19". At the end of the report you'll get the email IDs of the people from KPMG who have composed this. Usually it is the Partners and Principals who compose this.

Try for boutique consulting firms as well. Trust me, the work is exactly the same. It is just about the prestige and the money.

And lastly, keep practicing case interviews. You never know when you'll get an opportunity.

Hope this helps !
